GLOBE MARINE PLYWOOD : IS 710:2010
Globe Marine Plywood is manufactured from best quality hard wood having high density and strength. Globe Marine Ply is bonded with high quality Phenol Formaldehyde Synthetic Resins of BWP grade manufactured at company’s own resin plant. It is given permanent preservative treatment by vacuum impregnation with fine type of preservative. This treatment makes the Globe Marine Ply highly resistant to attack from destruction by borers and other wood destroying organisms in saline water conditions and posses high impact strength which stand to IS 710: 2010.
Globe Marine Ply is ideally suitable for application in Ship Floor and Boat Building, partitions , paneling in bulk heads, Cabin, Corridor, Linings for refrigerated ships, materials having vehicles and cargo hold covers, Life Boats and other light Marine Crafts like yatches, Motor Boats and Mine Sweeping crafts.
Globe Marine plywood withstand in all weather conditions and can also be used in Interior and Furniture Works.

Gold Tuff
Gold tuff is the ultimate choice in Marine as well as PMR Grade Hardwood Plywood. It is chemically treated with permanent preservatives through vacuum pressure impregnation and adheres conforming to IS 710 (1976) reaffirmed 1994 for Marine Grade & IS 303 for PMR Grade. It is totally resistant to fungi, termites, marine borers and other wood destroying organisms.
Gold Tuff is considered No 1 block board due to its superior quality and durability. Gold Tuff block boards are double pressed to ensure a smooth wrap free surface and are also free from corrugation and gaps, establishing itself as the finest quality block board in India. Gold Tuff is dimensionally stable and made from kiln dried seasoned timber that can resist termites and other wood-destroying organisms. Gold Tuff is available in both BWP and MR grade Conforming to IS: 1659 (2004).
Gold Tuff Flush Doors are manufactured from specifically selected & well seasoned timber. The solid Flush Door core is framed with seasoned wood battens and strengthened by a layer of cross-bands. Face veneers encompass both sides of the core. All these are bonded at high pressure and temperature with phenol formaldehyde resin and permanent type preservatives, under the cross-bonding process Conforming to IS: 2202 (Part-1) – 1999.

IKON BLOCK BOARDS:
These are made of excellent quality of plantation Timbers. Logs are quarter sawn into planks using SDR method, which are chemically treated and well seasoned before converting into battens in a multiple ripsaw. Battens are sandwiched between two glued mechanically dried veneers and are pressed in hot press under accurate temperature and pressure. Quality sawing of logs and proper seasoning of planks make it dimensionally stable and treatment of planks, poisoning of glue line and preservative treatment of finished block board make IKON Block Boards durable and safe against borers.

IKON PLYWOOD:
Veneers from high quality logs are mechanically dried and they undergo stress relieving process, which are assembled in such a way to form a balanced construction. High quality fortified synthetic resins are used for gluing the veneers. Glue line is poisoned by special formulations of chemicals to make IKON Plywood safe against borers. It is hot pressed under proper temperature and more than 16kg/cm2 specific pressure. Conditioning is done after pressing followed by preservative treatment.
